Placements are listed by region, so serving outside Greater Accra does not mean serving somewhere you found out about by word of mouth.
National Service questions
Does using this site replace the official NSS posting process?
No. Your posting still comes through the National Service Authority. What this page does is show you which organisations are actively looking to host personnel, so you can approach them and, where their process allows, be requested by name.
Why do National Service placements not show a salary?
Because the allowance is set nationally, not by the host organisation. Listings here are not allowed to advertise a salary for a service placement; where an organisation adds something on top, it says so in the description.
I have finished my service year. What should I look at?
Graduate jobs. Your profile, CV and application history carry straight over, so switching from placements to full-time roles is a change of filter rather than a fresh start.
Can an organisation charge me to secure a placement?
No, and none on this site is permitted to try. Report any listing or employer that asks you for money and we will take it down. Verification is checked before a listing goes live, not after a complaint.
